Workforce Australia - Bid Responses
We completed two sucessful bid management and reponse engagements on behalf of two national Workforce Australia providers. One assignment included over 12 weeks of extensive response preparation work including Board and Executive strategic planning, partnership identification and collaboration, and capability & operational planning, Both assignments resulted in multi-program and multi-region awards for our clients.
Post Acquisition Strategic "Reset"
It is often the case that a strategic acquisition requires a "reset" to onboard an entity into the governance and operational framework of the parent entity. For this client; the aquisition of a privaely owned and independantly operating Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and subsequent integration presented a range of challenges. Our work focussed on aligning the strategic and risk management plans of the new subordinate with that of the parent entity before consulting on the development of business and operational plans.
Strategic Planning Facilitation
Our for-purpose client operates a range of Commonwealth contracted employment and education & training services in largely regional locations. With organisational growth restricted due to natural caseload access; the focus for strategic planning was on seeking commercial extension opportuntities and margin improvement via operational efficiency and "effort multiplication". This engagment included an extended research period working with the new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Finance Officer to determine the granular metrics driving operations such as caseload profiles and performance, consultant ratios, sucess conversions, and benchmarks and historical achievement data (including government contract performance) to extract a baseline of performance truth.
Mergers & Acquisition Planning
Australia's skills development agenda has attained a new importance and renewed focus with many organisations seeking to "bolt on" a skills development capability by acquiring a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We have now developed and delivered multiple RTO merger & acquisition (M&A) plans for Boards seeking to secure commercial and capability extension opportunitties. Our knowledge in the Vocational Education & Training and Skills sectors is deep and authoritive. We are not business brokers. Rather; we segment the landscape of thousands of aquisition targets, aligning them to the strategy of our clients. Where requested, we act on behalf of our clients to make "first contact" at Board & CEO level.
